Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
December Session 1810
Ordered that Mary Livermon widdow of John Livermon deceased and William Livermon his son have leave of administration on the estate of the said John Livermon and has given bond in the sum of five thousand dollars James Hoskins and William Livermon Senr. securities justices present Richard Wood Thomas Leigh Joseph Ansley & Timothy Jones Esqrs.
Ordered that Jno. A. Patrick Jeremiah Wynne & Charles Hoskins be appointed to lay off to Mary Livermon widdow of John Livermon deceased her years allowance under the act of assembly & make return.
Ordered that the same men divide the negroes of said deceased so that the widdow and William Livermon son of the said Jno. Livermon can receive their share of said negroes.
Ordered that Mary Livermon and son William Livermon administrators of John Livermon deceased have leave to sell the movable estate of said deceased.
Ordered that Jeremiah Wynne John A. Patrick Charles Hoskins Joseph White and Timothy Jones be appointed commissioners to lay of to Mrs. Mary Livermon widow of John Livermon Jr. deceased her rite of lands under the Act of Assembly and make returns to next court with the County Surveyor.
April Session 1811
William Livermon administrator of John Livermon deceased returned into court on oath the inventory and account of sales of the estate of the said John Livermon deceased also the years allowance to the widdow the division of land & valuation of negroes of said deceased all filed.
July Session 1811
Ordered that Mary Livermon be appointed guardian to her children as follows viz. Patty Livermon Sally Livermon Polley Livermon Nancy Livermon John Livermon Elias Livermon and Spence Livermon orphans under age and has given bond in the sum of two thousand pounds currency William Livermon and David Clayton her securities.
January Session 1812
A plat and division of the lands of John Liverman deceased was returned to court by the commissioners in order to be filed.
January Session 1813
Ordered that John A. Patrick Timothy Jones & Joseph White be appointed to audite the estate of John Livermon deceased & make return to next court.
Ordered that John A. Patrick Joseph White and Timothy Jones be appointed to divide the negroes of John Livermon deceased among the heirs agreeable to petition.
April Session 1813
Ordered that Mary Livermon be allowed thirty one pounds & 10 shillings for keeping John Livermon & Elias Livermon orphans of John Livermon deceased from January 1811 to this time allowance filed.
Ordered that John A. Patrick Joseph White & Timothy Jones audite the estate of John Livermon deceased and make return to next court.
William Livermon returned the division of the negroes of John Livermon deceased which is filed.
July Session 1813
Jeremiah Wynne Esqr. returned in court the audited accounts of the estate of John Livermon deceased filed.
July Session 1817
Ordered that John A. Patrick Joseph White & Charles Hoskns audite & settle the accounts of John Liverman Senr. deceased and make return to the next term.
July Session 1821
Adamant Liverman was appointed guardian to John Liverman who entered into bond with approved security, ordered that he receive the estate of the said orphan into his possession & account for the same agreeable to law.
July Session 1822
The following persons appeared in open court & renewed their several guardian bonds viz. Mary Liverman guardian to John Liverman's orphans John Alexander Capn. guardian to John Hassell, John Alexander Capn. guardian to Thomas Ludfords orphans John Alexander Capn. guardian to Sarah Crain, and John Alexander Capn. to Charlotte Crain -all of whom entered into bond with approved security & filed.

Court order at December Term 1810 that John A. Patrick Jeremiah Wynne & Charles Hoskins divide the negroes belonging to the estate of John Liverman deceased among the lawful representatives so that the widow and William Liverman receive their share of the negroes.
Court order at December Term 1810 that John A. Patrick Jeremiah Wynne & Charles Hoskins lay off the year's allowance to Mary Liverman out of the estate of John Liverman her deceased husband.
Bond dated 24 Dec 1810 in the amount of two thousand five hundred pounds appointing Mary Liverman & William Liverman administrators of the estate of John Liverman Junr. deceased, James Hoskins & Wiliam Liverman Senr. securities.
Laying off of the year's allowance of Mary Liverman widow of John Liverman deceased on 21 Jan 1811.
Division of the negroes belonging to the estate of John Liverman deceased on 21 Jan 1811. A total of ten negroes were valued at $2105 which makes each heirs part $263.18. Jesse was layed off to Mary Liverman widow of John Liverman deceased valued at $400 which leaves her owing the heirs $136.78. Woman Rose went to William Liverman valued at $180, leaving him due $83.18 from the heirs.
Bond dated 9 Jul 1811 in the amount of two thousand pounds appointing Mary Liverman guardian to Pattey Liverman Sally Polly Nancy John & Elias Liverman orphans of John Liverman Junr., William Liverman Junr. & David Clayton securities. Flyleaf says renewed July term 1822 as to John & Elias Liverman the others of age.
Petition January Term 1813 stating that John Liverman Junr. died leaving considerable negro property and leaving a widow and seven children heirs to wit: Wm. Liverman, Patsy, Sally, Polly, Nancy, John & Elias Liverman. The widow and William Liverman received their share of the negroes on a previous division, and the remaining children are entitled to the rest of the negroes. Patsy has intermarried with Benjamin Cooper and Sally has married a certain Dempsey Liverman and the remainder of the children are under age, their mother Mary Liverman being their guardian. Petitioners pray a commission be appointed to divide the negroes according to law.
Petition July Term 1811 by William Liverman and Patsy Liverman, Sally Liverman, Polly Liverman, John Liverman, Elias Liverman & Nancy Liverman {Nancy interlined} by their guardian Mary Liverman stating the John Liverman died seized and possessed of a tract of land joining the lands of James Hoskins, John Vollewey & Joseph White. They pray that five commissioners be appointed to divide the land.
Division 6 Mar 1813 of the remaining negroes belonging to the estate of John Liverman deceased as follows:
Man Hank valued at $400 to Sarey Liverman.
Woman Hannah valued at $350 to Elias Liverman
Woman Afrey valued at $335 to Polley Liverman
Woman Amey valued at $320 to Patsey Cooper
Boy Anton and girl Cloe valued at $390 to John Liverman
Boy Josua and girl Zilphy valued at $455 to Nancy Liverman
Total valuation of $2250, with each share being $375.
Nancy Liverman owes Patsey Cooper $30, Polley Liverman $40 and Elias Liverman $10.
Sarey Liverman owes Patsey Cooper $25.
John Liverman owes Elias Liverman $15.
Court order July Term 1813 that John A. Patrick, Joseph White & Timothy Jones Esqr. divide the negroes of John Liverman deceased among his heirs agreeable to petition filed for that purpose.
Bond dated 2 Jul 1822 in the amount of two thousand pounds appointing Mary Liverman guardian of John Liverman & Elias Liverman orphans of Jno. Liverman, David Clayton & John Cooper securities.
