Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
October Session 1787
Richard Hoff appeared in court and prayed leave of administration on the estate of Robert McDougle deceased granted and give bond in 500 pounds William Harrison and Thomas Everitt securities.
Also the said Richard Hoff qualifyed as administrator on the said deceased estate - letters of administration issued.
Also returned an inventory of said deceaseds estate.
Ordered that Richard Hoff administrator have leave to sell the perishable estate of said deceased.
April Session 1788
Richard Hoff Esqr. exhibited in court on oath an account of sales of the whole estate of Robert McDougle deceased to amount of 26 pounds, 13 shillings & 5 pence ordered to be filed.
July Session 1788
Thomas Stewart and Hezekiah Spruill Esquires appointed to audit and inspect and settle the accounts of guardians administrators and administratrix accounts of the deceased estates which is accordingly done as per entrys following to wit - Richard Hoff administrator of Robert McDougle deceased and find a balance due the estate of said deceased of 42 pounds, 14 shillings & 7 pence ordered filed.
