Transcriber's Notes:
Tyrrell County marriage bonds show the marriage of Belsher D. Midgett to Patsy Sawyer on 15 Sep 1846, Abner Sawyer security; also Edward D. Midyett to Mary
Basnight on 19 May 1842, Thos. A. Gibson security; and also Anjelico Midyett to Thos. C. Maddux on 9 Mar 1815, Thos. Leigh security.
Tyrrell County marriage bonds also show the marriage of Samuel Midyett to Sally Daniel on an unknown date. Because there are a number of
children of Samuel Midyett who have a middle initial of "D." it is likely she was his wife. But it is also likely that she was a second wife
because Samuel had two daughters named Sally and the second one being Sally D.
