Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
April Session 1818
The last will & testament of Isaac Meekins deceased was exhibited in open court & proved by the oath of William B. Davis and Thomas Sikes and ordered recorded.
Jno. Meekins, Joseph Meekins & William Meekins qualified executors to the last will & testament of Isaac Meekins deceased.
Ordered that Isaac Meekins deceased executors have leave to sell the perishable estate of said deceased & make returns to next court.
July Session 1818
Inventory & account of sales of the estate of Isaac Meekins deceased was returned to court on oath by William Meekins amounting to $732.69 & filed.
October Session 1818
Appeared in open court Margaretta Meekins and disented from the last will & testament of Isaac Meekins deceased.
April Session 1819
An account of sales of the ballance of the estate of Isaac Meekins was returned to court on oath by William Meekins the executor & filed.
Ordered that John A. Patrick Joseph White & Thomas Sikes be appointed to audite & settle the estate of Isaac Meekins with the executor of said deceased & make return to next term.
July Session 1819
A surplus inventory of part of the estate of Isaac Meekins deceased amount $4.00 in cash proved & filed.
Report of auditors of the estate of Isaac Meekins was returned in open court & ordered to be filed.
Ordered that John A. Patrick & Joseph White & Thomas Sikes be appointed to reaudite settle & divide the estate of Isaac Meekins deceased between the executors & legal representatives & make return to the next term.
October Session 1819
Report of auditors & division of the estate of Isaac Meekins was returned in open court & filed balance due the estate $627.82.
An inventory of notes belonging to the estate of Isaac Meekins deceased amounting to $104.69 was returned in open court by the executor proved & filed.

security. Since Isaac Meekins was age 45 or greater in the 1810 census, there are several other marriages which could apply to
this Isaac Meekins; Isaac Meekins Sr. to Mary Richardson on 9 Jul 1789, Russell Armstrong security and Isaac Meekins to Elizabeth Lyon (widow)
on 3 Dec 1808, William Clough security.
