Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
November Session 1775
Ordered that Ann Mills be appointed administratrix of the estate of Francis Mills deceased & John Alexander & Thomas Jennet became securitys in the sum of four hundred pounds ordered that the Secretary have notice that letters may issue at the same time the said Ann Mills took the oath appointed by law for her qualification.
Ann Mills returned into court on oath an inventory of the estate of Francis Mills.
February Session 1776
Ordered that Mrs. Ann Mills admx. to the estate of Francis Mills sell the perishable part of said estate & make return to next court.
April Session 1783
Ordered that the account of Wiliam Howett against the estate of Francis Mills for boarding his children was produced and proved in due form of law & allowed.
