February Session 1809
Ordered that James Hoskins Richard Davis and Hezekiah Spruill Junr. are bound in the sum of four thousand pounds for the administration on the estate of John Murphy & Mary his wife.
Ordered that James Hoskins administrator of Jno. Murphy & Mary his wife have leave to sell the movable estate of the said John Murphy & wife and make return to next court.

Bond dated 27 Jun 1810 in the amount of four thousand pounds appointing James Hoskins administrator of the estate of John Murphy and Mary his wife deceased, Richard Davis & Hezekiah Spruill Junr. securities.
Execution dated 27 Oct 1810 and issued 10 Jan 1811 against William Hatfield & John Davenport for the sum of 100 pounds for debt and 21 pounds, 1 shilling & 6 pence for damages & costs recovered by the administrators of Mary Murphy in a suit. Directs the sheriff to expose to sale a negro woman and child and some household goods the peoperty of John Davenport and one half the schooner Sarah.
