Inventory of the estate of Henry Norman signed by Mary Norman.
Division of the estate of Henry Norman on 25 July 1747 between the relict of Henry Norman & Mrs. Elizabeth Norman Mr. Samuel Norman Mrs. Mary Norman & Joseph Norman Nehemiah Norman Zilpah Norman Jeremiah Norman John Norman Stephen Norman Jemima Norman and Elijah Norman. Some items of cash value were divided as 11 parts of two thirds of the estate, this being consistent with the widow getting one third and the eleven other heirs getting an eleventh part of the remaining two thirds of the estate. Mary Norman listed as widow. Joseph Norman, Nehemiah Norman, Zilpah Norman, Jeremiah Norman, John Norman, Stephen Norman, Jemima Norman and Elijah Norman are all listed as minors. Division made by Stevens Lee, Joshua Turner & Joseph Spruill.
Transcriber's Notes:
Court records of the estate of Mary White who died in 1758 show that she was the wife of Henry Norman and after his death in
1747 maried Charles White.
