In the name of God amen: I Henry Norman of the County and state aforesaid Planter being in perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die first of all I recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body to the earth to be decently buried in a Christian burial at the discretion of my worthy executrix and executors and as touching such part of my worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I dispose of in manner and form following that is to say ---

Item - I give will and bequeath to my well beloved wife Sarah Norman one half of my whole estate real and personal whatever at my death after all my just debts and expences are paid, I give will and bequeath to my well beloved friend Fanny Bay the other one half of my whole estate real and personal whatsoever at my death after all my just debts and expenses are paid to be equally divided between them two mentioned and no other persons including my whole estate given to both parties. I make will constitute and ordain my well beloved wife Sarah Norman Executrix and my worthy friends John Bateman and Asa Phelps my executors to this my last Will and Testament revoking and disanuling all other formaer Wills in any wise by me made or given by me in any wise whatsoever or any other Instrument of writing in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th Feby. 1804.
