I John W. Norman being of sound mind & memory (blessed) be almighty God for the same do make & publish this my last will and testament.
I do give & bequeath to my bloved brother Henry C. Norman & sisters Margret F. Norman, Amanda M. Norman and Mary V. Norman all my money notes & property of every description except one dollar which I give to my beloved mother Amanda F. Spruill.
I do also nominate and appoint H. C. Norman executor to this my last will & testament.
In testamony and decree this to be my last will & testament in the presents of the witneses named below this 15th of July 1861.
