Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
April Session 1789
Ordered that Urijah Phelps have leave to administer on the estate of Joseph Phelps his brother deceased and give bond in 500 pounds William Tarkinton & John Poole & Joshua Hassell securities and qualifyed.
Also returned an inventory of the said deceaseds estate on oath in open court ordered filed.
Ordered that the said Urijah Phelps administrator have leave to sell the perishable estate of the said deceased and make return to next court.
