February Session 1778

Edward Phelps returned in open court on oath the inventory of the estate of James Phelps deceased.

Ordered that Edward Phelps have leave to sell the perishable part of the estate of James Phelps deceased and make returns to next court.

Edward Phelps appeared in open court and prayed administration of James Phelps estate granted and gave for security Jerimiah Frazer & Jacob Phelps in the sum of one thousand pounds current money of this state.

Ordered that Edward Phelps sell the perishable part of the estate of James Phelps deceased & make returns to next court.

May Session 1778

Personaly appeared Edmund Blount and made oath on the sales of the estate of James Phelps ordered to be filed.

November Session 1778

Ordered that Edward Phelps sell the remaining part of perishable part of the estate of James Phelps Senr. deceased and make returns to next court.

February Session 1779

Mr. Henry Norman exhibited in open court on oath an account of sales of the estate of Jas. Phelps Senr. deceased ordered to be filed.

July Session 1779

Edward Phelps exhibits his acct. against the estate of James Phelps into open court and the court duly proved allows the same 18 pounds, 1 shilling & 1 pence.

Mr. Edward Phelps admr exhibits his acct. into open court against the estate of James Phelps deceased and there appears a ballance in the sd. Edward Phelps hands of 58 pounds, 7 shillings & 10 pence.

Ordered that a division of the estate of Jas. Phelps deceased be made amongst the heirs - and returns be made to next court.
