In the name of God Amen: I David Pritchett of the County & State aforesaid being of sound mind & memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last will & testament in manner and form following that is to say that my will and desire is that my wife Polly shall have the use of all my property both real & personal & perishable during her natural life or widowhood and after the death or marriage of my wife Polly my will and desire is that all property both real personal & perishable shall then be equally divided between my four children William Thomas Polly & David Heny Lewis but in case I should have another child or children born here after by my wife Polly it is my will and desire that they shall come in equally & share equal in my estate agreeable to the number of children I may have born unto me at my death - I do make depute constitute and appoint my well beloved wife Polly executrix to all intent and purposes to this my last will & testament hereby declaiming void all other wills or wills by me made heretofore:

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal in presents of H. B. Norman & Eli. Spruill who at my request doth hereunto subscribe their names witnesses the 21 day of Feby 1859.

Then was this with paper writing puporting to be the last will of David Pritchett decs,d exhibited in open court for probate by Polly Pritchett the executrix therein named and the due execution thereof by the said David Pritchett proved by the oath & examination of H. B. Norman & Eli Spruill the subscribing witness therein named. Whereupon it is considerd and adjudg by the court that the said paper writing & every part thereof is the last will & testament of said David Pritchet decs,d & it is ordered by the court that the same be recorded & filed and the said Polly Pritchet come into court and qualify as such by taking the oath prescribed by law.
