Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
January Session 1789
Ordered that Mary Patterson have leave of administration on the estate of William Patterson deceased her late husband and give bond 1,000 pounds Thomas Everitt and James Long Capt. securities.
Also the said Mary Patterson administratrix returns on oath an inventory of the said William Patterson deceased ordered to be filed.
Ordered that Mary Patterson administratrix of William Patterson deceased have leave to sell the perishable part of the said deceaseds estate and make return to next court.
July Session 1789
Edmund Blount Esqr. Sheriff returns an account of sales of part of the estate of William Patterson deceased to amount of 13 pounds, 4 1/2 bushels of corn.
Also another account of sales of part of the estate of William Patterson deceased to amount of 152 pounds, 1 shilling & 6 pence & filed.
January Session 1791
Ordered that Clement Crooke & Levi Blount be appointed to audite the accounts of Mary Patterson administratrix of William Patterson deceased & make return to next court.
April Session 1791
Clement Crooke & Levi Blount auditors appointed last term to audite the account of Mary Patterson administratrix of Wm. Patterson deceased after examined the said administratrix account find a balance due her the said administratrix of 10 pounds & 4 shillings filed.
