In the name of God amen: June the 8th day and in the year of our Lord Christ 1784 I John Powers Senr. Being in perfect mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament first I desire to be decently buried and my Estate and effects I bequeath and dispose of in form and manner as follows.
First - I give to my well beloved son Israh Powers the Plantation whereon he now lives with fifty acres of land more or less -
I give to my well beloved sons Ephrom Powers and Benjamin Powers, my manor Plantation whereon I now live to be equally divided between them and if Ephrom Powers or Benjamin Powers should die without heir for the other to have it all and the remainder part of my Estate after my debts and all lawfull costs is paid I give one third part to my well beloved wife Seth Powers of the remaining part of my Estate and the other two thirds of my Estate I leave to be equally divided between John Powers and Salak Powers and Ann Powers and Ephrom Powers and Benjamin Powers.
I likewise constitute and appoint my well beloved wife Seth Powers Executrix and Edmond Phelps and Joseph Volovey and Josiah Powers Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby totally disallow, disannul and revoke every other former Wills or Testaments or Legacies and Executors by me in any ways before made Willed or bequeathed, ratifyed and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixt my seal the day and year above written.

Personally appeared Seth Powers and exhibited in open court the within will of John Powers deceased and proved the
same on the oath of Joseph Volivey on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that he saw and heard the within named John
Powers deceased sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the within writing to be his last will and testament and at that time
he was of sound memory & mind - the same time he saw Edmund Phelps sign as a witness thereto and further saith not.

Appeared in open court Seath Powers widow of John Powers deceased & Josiah Powers son of said deceased and exhibited the last will and testament of John Powers deceased which was proved by the oath of Joseph Volivey and ordred to be recorded.
Also the said Seath Powers qualifyed executrix to the said will and John Powers also qualifyed executor to said will.
