Bond dated 30 Aug 1771 in the amount of one thousand pounds appointing Joshua Leary guardian of Joshua Slaid orphan of Henry Slaid deceased, James Long & Thomas Leary securities.

Transcriber's Notes:

Tyrrell County marriage bonds show the marriage of Henry Slade to Mary Worley in April 1750, Joshua Worley & Evan Jones securities.

See the 1754 will of Lovick Worley.

Since Henry Slade would not have married Ann Worley until 1754 or after, Mary Worley must have been a previous wife.
