July Session 1805
Ordered that Samuel Simmons have leave of administration on the estate of Josiah Simmons deceased and hath given bond in the sum of five hundred pounds Robert Sawyer and Joseph Spence his securities - - - he also has returned on oath an inventory of the Josiah Simmons filed.
Ordered that Samuel Simmons have leave to sell the perishable part of Josiah Simmons estate and make return to next court.
October Session 1806
Samuel Simmons returned on oath the account of sales of the property of Josiah Simmons to the amount of 43 pounds, 6 shillings & 9 pence ordered filed.
Ordered that Jno. A. Patrick Esqr. Joseph White and John Clayton or a majority of them audite the accounts of the estate of Josiah Simmons deceased vs. the administrator and make return to next court.
