In the name of God Amen I William Smith being weak in body but of sound mind memmory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form followeth viz: -

Item I leave my bees (?) cartwheals whipsaw & g unto ? paying debts, I leave my dwelling house and the land to the north of my big ditch unto my son William his heirs and assigns for ever the remainder of my land to the south of the afsd ditch to the dividing line between me and my brother John I give unto my son Thomas his heirs and assigns for ever likewise I give my horse Colt unto my son Thomas. Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth my mare three cows two ? & two calves two ? one ? twelve pewter plates one chest one linning wheal one iron pot and ?, the remainder of my estate which is not already given I leave to support my family on during my wifes widowhood (excepting three young stears and my wearing cloathes I give to my brother John Smith) and at her marrage, what is not given to be equally devided a mong my three children and my wife Rachel. I appoint my brother John gardean to my three children and their estate untill they arrive to lawful age. I appoint my brother John Smith executor to this my last will and testament - Signd and published 27th of October in the year of our Lord 1790 -

Personally appeared John Poole in court & made oath on the Holy Evangelist of almighty God that he saw and heard William Smith the above named sign, seal, publish, pronounce & declare the above instrument of writing to be his last will & testament, & at that time he was of sound, disposing mind & memory & at the same time he saw John Sawyer a subscribing witness make his mark & further saith not

John Clayton Esqr. one of the auditors appointed to audite and settle the accounts of William Smith deceased with the administrator of John Smith deceased who was executor to William Smith returns the accounts in open court settled and ordered filed.
