I Rosanna Smith of the County of Tyrrel and State of N. Carolina being of sound mind and memory do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say:

Item first. I give and bequeath unto Mrs. Zilphia Mincher one negro girl named Clarissa, to her and her personal reprosentatives forever-

Item second – I desire that the residue of my estate be equally divided between my heirs at law-

Lastly- I hereby constitue and appoint Mr. Joseph McClees, my lawful executor, to execute this my last Will and Testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the same-

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14 April 1855-
