The Last will and testament of Frances Snell of the county of Tyrrell and State of North Carolina made and published the Eight day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Six.

In the Name of God, Amen. I Frances Snell of the County of Tyrrell and the State of North Carolina of the Age of Fifty Nine years and being of sound min and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this my Last will and Testament in maner following that is to say,

First - It is my will that my Funeral Expenses and my (cut off) Husbands his first wife and my Groves be wired around.

Second - I give and bequeath to Warren Snell all I possesses consisting of my Beds, Bed Steads, Bed covering, Tables, Chair and all my House Hold and Kitchen Furniture. All grain corps or grain housed or stock, or Poultry.

Lastly - I hereby nominate and appoint Warren Snell to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.

In witness Whereof, I have hereunto Set my hand and seal, the Eight day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Six.

The above instrument was now here Subscribed by Frances Snell the testator in the presence of each of us: and was at the same time declared by her to be her Last Will and Testament and we at her request Sign our names hereto in her presence as attesting Witnesses.

A paper writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Frances Snell deceased is exhibited before me the undersigned clear of the Superior Court for said county by Warren Snell the executor therein mentioned and the due execution thereof by the said Frances Snell by the oath and examination of James G. Brickhouse & Ned Rhodes the subscribing witnesses thereto who being duly Sworn doth depose and say and each for himself deposeth and saith that he is a subscribing witness to the paper writing now shown him purporting to be the last will and testament of Frances Snell that the said Frances Snell in the presence of this deponent subscribed her name at the end of the said paper - writing now shown as aforesaid and which bears date of the 8th day of January 1906. and the Deponent Further Saith.
That the said Frances Snell the testator aforesaid did at the time of subscribing her name as aforesaid declare the said paper-writing so subscribed by her and exhibited to be her Last Will and Testament and this deponent did thereupon subscribe his name at the end of said will as an attesting witness thereto and at the request and in the presence of the said testator. And this deponent further saith that at the said time when the said testator subscribed her name to the said Last Will as aforesaid and at the time of deponent's subscribing his name as an attesting witness thereto as aforesaid the Said Frances Snell was of sound mind and memory of full age to execute a will and was not under any restraint to the Knowledge information or belief of this deponent. And further these deponents say not.

It is therefore considered and adjudged by the court that the said paper-writing and every part thereof is the last Will and Testament of Frances Snell deceased. Let the said Will together with the probate be recorded and filed.
