Snell, Asa, 1809
Note of hand dated 17 Feb 1809 in which James Dillen & James Dillen promise to pay Ann Snell administratrix of Asa Snell deceased the sum of ninety six and one half dollars twelve months after date for value received. Witnessed by Matthew Brickhouse Junr..
Summons dated 27 Jun 1810 and issued 17 Sep 1810 for James Dillen Junr. & James Dillen Senr. to appear at court on the fourth Monday in September next to answer unto Ann Snell administratrix of Asa Snell deceased in a plea of debt in the sum of $96.50 equal to forty eight pounds, five shillings which they owe and detain to her damage twenty pounds.
Summons dated 28 Sep 1810 and issued 19 Nov 1810 for James Dillen Junr. & James Dillen Senr. to appear at court on the fourth Monday in December next to answer unto Ann Snell administratrix of Asa Snell deceased in a plea of debt in the sum of $96.50 equal to forty eight pounds, five shillings which they owe and detain to her damage twenty pounds.
Summons dated 28 Sep 1810 and issued 16 Nov 1810 for Matthew Brickhouse Junr. to appear at court on the fourth Monday in December next to testify on behalf of Asa Snell's administratrix in a cause before the court depending wherein Asa Snell's administratrix is plaintiff and James Dillen is defendant.
Execution dated 15 Oct 1811 and issued 18 Oct 1811 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of James Dillen Junr. & James Dillen Senr. for forty eight pounds and five shillings which Asa Snell's administratrix recovered against them for debt plus ten pounds, seventeen shillings & two pence for damage and costs.
Five travel vouchers for Matthew Brickhouse attending various sessions of court to testify.
