Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
April Session 1833
Ordered that Hz. G. Spruill have leave to administer on the estate of Harmon Spruill deceased.
Hz. G. Spruill administrator of Harmon Spruill returned on oath in open court account of sale of said estate.
Also an inventory of the estate of Samuel Spruill deceased.
October Session 1833
The commissioners returned into court the years allowance of Sally Spruill widow of Harmon Spruill.
January Session 1834
Ordered that Jos. Halsey, F. F. Fagan & Ephm. Mann audite and settle the estate of Harmon Spruill.

Spruill, Harmon, 1833
Upon application to the court by Hez. G. Spruill he is appointed special administrator on the estate of Harmon Spruill deceased on 21 Feb 1833 and authorize him to sell the perishable property, if any, and hire out the negroes, if any, until April Term.
Bond dated 21 Feb 1823 in the amount of one thousand dollars appointing Hez. G. Spruill special administrator of the estate of Harmon Spruill, with Jos. Alexander & Richard Howett as securities.
Petition July Term 1833 by Sally Spruill for her year's allowance from the estate of her deceased husband Harmon Spruill.
Laying off of the year's allowance of the widow Sally Spruill. The commissioners find insufficient crop and stock and provisions in the estate of Harmon Spruill deceased and say that Hez. G. Spruill administrator of saiod Harmon shall pay to said Sally Spruill the sum of 75 dollars in full of her year's allowance. Date is unspecified but in 1833.
Summons dated the fourth Monday in January 1834 for William Spruill Senr. to appear in court on the fourth Monday in April next and there to answer unto Hezekiah G. Spruill administrator of Harmon Spruill to the use of Charles T. Spruill of a plea that he render unto him three hundred dollars which he owes and unjustly detains to his damage one hundred dollars.
