Spruill, King, 1804
Execution dated 25 Jul 1804 and issued 8 Aug 1804 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of Sally Swain for 22 pounds, 18 shillings and 2 pence which King Spruill's executors recovered against her in a suit for debt, damage & cost. Sold to amount of 4 pounds, 10 shillings, nothing else to be found. Reverse says King Spruill's executors vs. Sarah Swain's guardian.
The following is filed under Chowan County estate records, but probably belongs in Tyrrell County estate records:
Statement that the account exhibited some time ago by Dickinson & Beasley against the estate of King Spruill deceased for
seventy-nine pounds is acknowleged to be true and just and will be paid over the course of the next twelve month. Dated 19 Oct 1802, signed
by Ester Spruill and witnessed by Ebenezer Pettigrew.
