John McClees returned the account of sales of the property belonging to the estate of Daniel Swain deceased.
Ordered that Abner Alexander, Thomas B. Midyett & Jeremiah Weskett lay off to Fanny Swain widow of Daniel Swain deceased her years allowance.

Bond dated 26 Dec 1841 in the amount of $600 appointing John McClees special administrator of the estate of Danl. Swain deceased, T. L. Hassell & Nelson Alexander securities. Permission granted to sell all the personal estate except negros
Bond dated 26 Jan 1842 in the amount of $600 appointing John McClees administrator of the estate of Danl. Swain deceased, Jos. Halsey & Jesse Sikes securities.
Petition October Term 1842 by John McClees, administrator of Daniel Swain and of Samuel G. Sawyer who are tenants in common of a negro slave named Isaac, said John owning 5/6th and said Samuel 1/6th thereof. They are desirous of effecting a sale so each may hold his share in severalty.
Summons dated the 4th Monday of July 1843 for James M. Alexander to appear in court on the 4th Monday in October next to testfy for the defendant in a case where John McClees, administrator of Swain, is plaintiff and Abner Alexander is defendant.
Bond dated 26 [blank] 1846 in the amount of $1,000 appointing Charles P. Shepard guardian to James Swain & Edna Swain orphans of Danl. Swain deceased, Benjamin Spruill & William Morris securities.
Petition of Benjamin Spruill at October Term 1850 stating that he is security for Charles P. Shepard in a guardian bond for James & Edna Swain executed at October Term 1846. Petitioner fears he may suffer a loss if he continues as security and prays that Charles P. Shepherd be summoned to the next term of this court and be compelled to give additional security or deliver the estate in his hands to such person as the court may appoint.
Bond dated 28 Jan 1851 in the amount of $500 appointing Benja. S. Basnight guardian of James & Edna Swain, orphans of Daniel Swain deceased, Benja. Spruill & Jesse Sanderson securities.
Bond dated 28 Jan 1851 in the amount of $500 appointing Wm. J. Beasley guardian of James & Edna Swain, orphans of Daniel Swain deceased, Benja. Spruill & Henry McCleese securities.
