Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
January Session 1793
Ordered that James Sawyer have leave of administration on the estate of James Sawyer deceased his father and give bond in 400 pounds Isaac Sawyer & Joseph Williams securities.
James Sawyer administrator of James Sawyer deceased his father exhibits into court on oath an inventory of the estate of the said deceased & filed.
July Session 1799
Ordered that Enoch Sawyer orphan of James Sawyer be bound to Levin Sawyer till he arrives to lawful age to learn the art & mistery of a farmer the said master is to teach the said apprentis to read wright & cypher as far as the rule of three.
