Spencer Cooper having applied to me for a LICENSE for the marriage of himself of Tyrrell County, aged 36 years, color Dark the son of Issac Cooper and Penny Cooper the father now Dead, the mother Living, resident of Gum Neck, Tyrrell Co N.C. And Julia Armstrong of Tyrrell County aged 22 years, color Light, daughter of Not Known and Caroline Armstrong the father Dead, the mother Living, resident of Gum Neck,Tyrrell County N.C..
And the written consent of (blank) the (blank) of the said (blank) to the proposed marriage having been filed with me.
And there being no legal impediment to such marriage known to me, you are hereby authorized, at any time within one year from the date hereof, to celebrate the proposed marriage at any place within the said county.
