June 3, 1817
In the name of God Amen. I, Benjamin Tweede do make and constitute this my last will & testament in the words & manner as follows -
1st My will and desire is to have all my just debts paid
2d My will and desire is that all my stock of cattle be sold except my working oxen which I lend to my son John Tweedy for three years, and then to my daughter for the use of the plantation
3d I give unto my two daughters Massey and Rhoda Tweedy one bed and furniture, and all the rest of my house hold furniture and farming tools to be sold, like wise my stock of bees hogs and sheep and the money arising from the sale to be equally divided between my then living children My desire is that my mare that be kept for the use of the plantation
4th My will and desire is that the plantation where I now live be equally divided between my daughters Dolly Nancy Dorcus Marjery Phillis Massey and Rhoda Tweedy and likewise all my stock of provision now on hand I give to my daughters above named -
My desire is that my canoe be sold and the money equally divided between my then living children. I hereby nominate and appoint my son John Tweedy and my daughter Nancy Tweedy executors to this my last will and testament this third of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen

October Session 1817
The last will & testament of Benjamin Tweedy was exhibited into open court & proved by the oath of Asa Smith Esquire in due form & filed.
Nancy Tweedy came into open court & quallified as executrix to the last will & testament of Benjamin Tweedy deceased.
July Session 1820
John Tweedy came into open court & qualified as executor to the last will & testament of Benjamin Tweedy deceased in due form of law.
