Execution by the Superior Court dated the first Monday in March 1840 and issued 15 Mar 1840 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of William Ball & Enoch L. Stephens, administrator of Thomas Williams for $600 which Nathan Alexander recovered against them for debt with interest from 1 Jan 1839 for plus $10.40 for damages, costs & charges. Subject to a credit of $105 on 12 Feb 1840.
Execution by the Superior Court issued 10 Sep 1840 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of William Ball & Enoch L. Stephens, administrator of Thomas Williams for $600 which Nathan Alexander recovered against them for debt with interest from 1 Jan 1839 plus $11.95 for damages, costs & charges. Subject to a credit of $105 on 12 Feb 1840. Receipt on the back from Nathan Alexander for $557.94 1/2. Included costs from the Sheriffs of Pasquotank, Currituck and Tyrrell. Note from Sheriff of Currituck County saying advertised at the court house at Moyock Bridge and at the sign post at Narrow Shore Road and attended at the dwelling house of W. Ball and offered one horse and no sale for want of bidders.
