In the name of God amen: I Thomas Wynne of Tyrrel County in North Carolina being sick in body but of good and perfect memory thanks to Allmighty God and calling to remembrance the uncertin state of this Transatory life and that all flesh must yield to death when it shall please God I do make constitute and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following revoaking and annuling by these presents all and everey Testament and Testaments Will and Wills heretofore by me made and declared either by word or wrighting and this is to be taken only for my last Will and Testament and none other and first being pennetent and sorry from the bottome of my hart for my sins past most humbly desire forgiveness for the same I give and commit my soul unto Allmighty God my Saviour and Redeemer in whome and by the merretts of Jesus Christ trust and believe assurdly to be saved and to have remision and forgiveness of all my sins that my soul with my body at the General day of Resurrection shall rise againe with joy and the merits of Christ death and passion possess and inherrit the Kingdom of Heaven prepared for his elect and chosen and my to be body to be buried in such a place where it shall please my Executors hereafter named to appoint and now for settling my Temporal Estate and such goods and chattles as it hath pleased God for above my deserts to bestow upon me I do order give and dispose the same in manner and form following.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son John Wynne on shilling of Great Briton sterling money.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my well beloved daughter Lidia Davenport one shilling sterling money of Great Britain.

Item - I leave my well beloved wife Anna to be my sole Executrix and likewise give and bequeath unto my well beloved Anna all my goods and chattells as Temperrel Estate during her natural life or widdowhood which after her life or widdowhood I desire it to be equally divided between my well beloved son Jeremiah Wynne and his well beloved son Peter Wynne and likewise I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son Peter Wynne my Manner plantation with all the lands belonging to me in my possession to him and his heirs forever.

Item - I give and bequeath to m beloved gran son Stephen Wynne Davenport one two year old hefer I leave her in my son Peter Wynne care and he iincreas whil he coms to ye age of sixteen years then to deliver the said heffer and her increas or ye value of them In witness wherof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of July Amo Domy one thousand seven hundred and fifty five. Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the sd. Thomas Wynne as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscriber Vis:

June Session 1755

Hannah Wynne exhibeted a petition praying an order for administration granted John Hooker Esqr. & John Bateman securitys in the sum of eighty pounds Proclamation money.

September Session 1757

The last will and testament of Thomas Wynne was duly proved by the oath of Joshua Tarkington one of the subscriber evidences who saw the other subscr. evedences sign their name.

Jeremiah Wynne exhibited the inventory of Thomas Wynne deceased proved by the oath of Ann Wynne before Joseph Spruill, justice of the peace.
