Welcome to this new site for Wake County! \u00a0As the home county to our state capitol, Wake County has been a place of great historical significance to the state. \u00a0It is my hope that this site will grow tremendously to offer and help you find information about your ancestors and persons of genealogical interest.<\/p>\n
I became county coordinator and launched this new site January 1, 2010. \u00a0Over the next few weeks I’ll address a few style issues (pardon some of the text inconsistencies) and add basic information about research & records in the county. \u00a0 Please bear with me!<\/p>\n
