Wayne County: In Probate Court: Before W. T. Yelverton, Judge of Probtate The petition of E. B. Jordan, Executor of Job Warrick, deceased, respectfully shows to the court: that he has duly qualified as executor of the last will and testament of Job Warrick, deceased, and there remains in his hands belonging to said estate certain articles of personal property, of which he has made an inventory, and duly returned it to this court. That he is desirous of selling said property for cash for the following reasons: the estate is small, and of little value; money is more plentiful now than at any other time of the year; and lastly, it is very difficult for purchasers at a sale on credit to give good security, and in giving such credit the estate would be endangered. Wherefore, he prays the court to grant him an order to sell the presonal property of his testator for cash. And your petitioner will ever pray &c. Dortch & Sons, Attys for Pet'rs.
