Funeral Service Conducted for D.H. Carson, of Goldsboro
Goldsboro, April 19 – D. H. CASON, 37, died at 9:30 o’clock Friday night after several days illness.  Mr. CASON, who moved here with his family some time ago from east St. Louis, was a member of the Christian church. He held a position as superintendent of the Dewey Brothers plant here.  His wife died two months ago.

Funeral service was conducted at 2:30 Saturday afternoon by Rev. A.J. SMITH, pastor of the First Baptist church, the minister of the Christian church.  Rev. R.K. JONES being ill.  Interment was in Willow Dale cemetery beside his wife.

 

PRICE, Adell (d. 1930)

Goldsboro, May 22 – Adell PRICE, 20, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Earl PADGETT, on Slocumb street early Wednesday morning, following a lingering illness of tuberculosis.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. A.P. TOMPSON, of Baltimore, and the following brothers and sisters: Ben and Robert PRICE, both of Baltimore: Frank and Paul PRICE of Hunert: Theodore PRICE and Mrs. Earl PADGETT, both of Goldsboro, and Mrs. J.W. SMITH of Emporia, Va.

Funeral services were conducted from May’s chapel, near Dudley at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon by Rev. Mr. ROUSE.
