Willie “Boss” Freeman of Gates celebrated his 100th birthday Oct. 20, 2002 with a special celebration hosted by is family. Freeman has nine children, 36 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Source: unknown newspaper – Oct. 30, 2002.
