4920. Lois Eloise LITTLE was born on 20 September 1932 in Catawba County, North Carolina.2541 She died on 10 July 2012 at the age of 79 in Claremont, Catawba County, North Carolina. Her obituary appeared as follows: CLAREMONT Lois Eloise Little Hoke, 79, of Claremont, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at her residence. Born Sept. 20, 1932 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of Clyde Dewey Little and Rena Little Sigmon. Lois retired from Y.E.S. Hosiery and was a NASCAR fan. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Claremont. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Lane Hoke; brothers, Dewey Little and John Little; and a sister, Charlene Hollar. Survivors include her son, Darrell Hoke and wife, Marylyn, of Claremont; daughter, Doris Setzer and husband, Robert, of Claremont; brother, J. D. Little and wife, Belle, of Conover; sisters, Josie Cordell and husband, Robert, of Conover and Carolyn Clanton and husband, Larry, of Denver; grandchildren, Walter Hoke, of Claremont, Lisa Drake, of Newton, Robbie Setzer, of Claremont and Brittany Setzer, of Claremont; great-grandchildren, Camilla Drake, Abigail Hoke, Hunter Hoke, Alicia Setzer and Lexee Setzer; special friend, Jim Moose; and beloved dog, Penny. A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, July 13, at 3:15 p.m. in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover, with the Rev. Richard Irwin of Mt. View United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Drum Funeral Home.
