1864. Estoye "Toye" DALE was born on 7 October 1899 in Burke County, North Carolina. She died on 11 November 1946 at the age of 47 in Catawba County, North Carolina. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina.

Estoye "Toye" DALE and W. Earl PIERCE were married on 22 December 1929. W. Earl PIERCE, son of John Robert PIERCE and Lola KEEVER, was born on 20 February 1897. He died on 8 July 1983 at the age of 86 in Catawba County, North Carolina. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina.

4184	vii.	Marie PIERCE was born on 3 March 1925 in Caldwell County, North Carolina. She died on 17 June 2011 at the age of 86 in Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, Catawba County, NC. Her obituary appeared as follows: HICKORY Marie Pierce Yount, 86, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Born March 3, 1925, in Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late Toye and Earl Pierce. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Mullen, and two daughters, Joyce Hughes and Sandra Jolley. She is survived by her son, Don Yount, and his wife, Judy, of Joelton, Tenn.; her daughter, Deidra Yount Archambault, of Connelly Springs; her brother, Earl Pierce, Jr., of Hickory; her nephew, John S. Arney (Elaine) and a niece, Toye Sue Arney (Darlene). A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Boston officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
