12. Elizabeth HERMAN was born about 1805 in Pennsylvania or Lincoln (Catawba) County, North Carolina.62,63 She died after 1870 at the age of 65.

Elizabeth HERMAN and Joseph FLOWERS were married about 18 February 1830 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.64 Flowers, Joseph x; Herman, Elizabeth; Simeon Barger Jr, bondsman; 18 Feb 1830; Henry Cline, witness Joseph FLOWERS, son of Christopher FLOWERS and Mary MOORE, was born on 22 December 1788 in Berks County, Pennsylvania.62 He died about 1864 at the age of 76.

Noah J. or T. FLOWERS was born about 1841 in Lincoln (Catawba County), North Carolina.62 He died about 25 June 1862 at the age of 21.65 His record in the War Between the States is as follows:66,67,68 FLOWERS, NOAH T., Sergeant, Company C, 28nd Regiment, NC Troops - Resided in Catawba County where he enlisted on August 13, 1861. Mustered in as Corporal and was promoted to Sergeant on February 27, 1862 Hospitalized at Richmond, Virginia, June 11, 1862. with "paralysis [and] typhoid fever." Died in hospital at Richmond on or about June 25, 1862.
