Smith.⁹⁷⁰ In 1910 Dallas was in farmer, Cline's Twp., Catawba County, North Carolina.⁹⁶⁸ He was elected in 1928 in Elected to Catawba County Board of Commissioners on the Republican ticket⁹⁷¹ He died on 8 April 1959 at the age of 92 in Catawba County, North Carolina.^{964,965 965} Dallas was buried in April 1959 in St. John's Lutheran Church (MO Synod) Cemetery, Conover, Catawba County, NC.⁹⁶⁵
