She was buried in Conover City Cemetery, Conover, Catawba, North Carolina. Born July 28, 1909 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Lee Travis and Minnie Kaylor Travis. She was a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, and had worked for a glove manufacturer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Oscar Hunsucker, two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law: Lewis Dale and Winnifred Hunsucker of Newton Sister: Clara Lail of Conover. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 PM Sunday, December 29, 2002 at Drum Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Merlin Batt will officiate.
