SC. Born August 14, 1910 she was the daughter of
the late Claude and Mary Jane Henderson Moser.
She retired from Coley’s Gift Shop in Newton
and was an active member of Beth Eden Lutheran in
Newton. She was a former volunteer at Catawba
Valley Medical Center in the gift shop and at
ECCCM in Newton, NC. In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen
Elizabeth Moser. Survivors include: A son and
daughter-in-law: Harry Lee and Carole S. Lemon,
JR. of Lexington, NC. A daughter and son-in-law:
Virginia and Charles Shackelford of Columbia, SC;
A sister: Mary Moser Mann of Lexington, NC; 6
Grandchildren and 11 Great grand-children. A
graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on
Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at Eastview Cemetery
in Newton, NC. Rev. Bill Mims will officiate and
pallbearers will be the grandsons. The family
will receive friends prior to the service on
Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at
Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home. Memorials may be
made to: Palmetto Health Hospice, PO Box 7275,
Columbia, SC 29202. The Lemon Family has
entrusted funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds
Funeral Home and Cremations in Newton.
