Links to Salem College and Wake Forest Yearbooks have been added to the Schools page.

Updates for the site include:

• Photos on the Dwiggins Family
• Ogburn Collection – selected material from this collection is starting to be added. Much of this references the Ogburn Station area.
• NGS – Added information about the National Genealogical Society Conference in May.

A link to a listing of students from Forsyth County in North Carolina colleges and universities has been added to the Schools page.

There are now links to the online City Directories for Winston, Salem, and Winston-Salem from 1879 to 1923 under Records > City Directories. I have never spent much time researching in them but I had a great time browsing them as I researched them for this site.

Also, under Records > Businesses there are links to business directories from 1867 – 1896.

Welcome to our brand new Forsyth County NCGenWeb site. I am still adding content almost every other day. I will let you know on this blog what is newly added.  I really need your contributions for this to be a great resource for Forsyth County researchers.
