This is a list of slaves extracted from estate records for Henderson County, NC. This is not a complete list, only those which the abstractor noted. There are surely others. Coston, William 1856
Slaves: Pane, age 13, Sophrey and her two children, Harriett, age 6 and Manervey, age 2 1/2; Mary, age 42 and Mary’s child Carline, age 1; Arey?, age 3, John, age 10 months and Jeby, age 12.
