A.W. McINTYRE DIES

After an illness of but two weeks with typhoid fever, Mr. A.W. McIntyre, a native of Scotland county, died at his home 
in Hoke county, near Raeford, Saturday morning at six o'clock. The remains were brought here Saturday evening and carried 
to the country home of his brother, Mr. H.A. McIntyre, the funeral taking place at Mr. McIntyre's old home in Marlboro county, 
South Carolina, Sunday morning at 11 o'clock.

Mr. McIntyre was a prominent farmer of Hoke, and was in his 63rd year and is survived by his wife and six children and two 
brothers, Messrs H.A. and B.W. McIntyre, both of this county. The wife is in a Fayetteville hospital and is critically ill, 
while one of the children, Beverly, aged 14, is in the James Sanatorium here with fever.
