      RED SPRINGS — Tony Alexander Chavis, 52, of 238 Crooked Arrow Drive, died 
      Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, in Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson.
      Mr. Chavis retired from Burlington Industries. He was a member of Spring 
      Hill Baptist Church in Wagram.
      Services: Funeral, 2 p.m. Monday in Spring Hill Baptist Church. Burial in 
      Antioch Presbyterian Church cemetery. Visitation, 7 to 9 tonight at 
      Crumpler Funeral Home in Red Springs.
      Survived by: Wife, Frances Charlton-Chavis; and brothers, Russell and Mike.
      Memorials: Spring Hill Baptist Church, 24220 Main St., Wagram, NC 28396.
