Obituary

 P. WESLEY YOUNG (1831-1884)

Dr. P. Wesley Young died yesterday at his home in Granville County, N.C. He was 53 years old, and one of the most prominent physicians and surgeons in North Carolina. During the war, Dr. Young served as a Surgeon in the Confederate Army.  He was a brother of R. A. Young, Deputy United States Internal Revenue Collector for the Second District of Virginia.
