Also states his willingness to comply with his Father's Last Will & Testament, "that my sister receives benefit of said Estate as also what is due me for services done." Wit: EDW. 144 WILLIAM DUKE to Managers of the Land Office for LORD EARL GRANVILLE's District in ButE Co., N.C. Request, dated 15 May 1777, that a deed be made out to WILLIAM PARK, in his name and at his expense, for land entered when the Land Office of LORD GRANVILLE was open, surveyed by THOMAS PERSON, in then Granville County, adjoining lands of Opossom Quarter tract, JOHN DUKE, MATHEW DUKE, & land then belonging to PETER GREEN.
