175 Bond to insure EDWARD CARLYLE to build a bridge over Sandy Creek near mill of JACOB BASS & keep same in repair for 7 years. Bond, dated 27 April 1771, to OSBORN JEFFREYS, Chairman of the Court. Securities: DAVID WALKER, WILLIAM WOOD. Wit: MATHEW THOMAS, JAS. THOMPSON. Bond presented to Court by MATHEW THOMAS who had been appointed by the Court to contract for the building of the bridge. Rcd. May Court 1771.
