THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

OF

HANNAH ABERCROMBIE

August 12, 1754

North Carolina

Pasquotank County

Ye In the name of God Amen I HANNAH ABERCROMBIE of the County and Province aforesaid being sencible that it is appointed for all people once to die and being at this present time forward and disposing this my Do make this my Last Will and Testament, in the following manner.

My Will is that all my Just Debts and funeral charges be paid ??? conveniont (?) time by my Executors, after my decease.

Item.  I give to my Daughter CATHRINE CHAMBERLIN my bed and furniture, that I lie on, two puter dishes, two basons and my writing desk & case of twelve bottles to her and to her disposial.

Item.  I give to my Grand Daughter LUCY CHAMBERLIN one puter dish two plates

Item.  I give to my Grandson JEROMIAH CHAMBERLIN one gun.

Item.  I give to my Grandson DANIEL EVERTON, trunnel bed & bedstead and the furniture thereto belonging two Porringers, one dish.

Item.  I give to my Grandson JEROMIAH EVERTON two cows and their increase to him and his heirs.

Item.  I give to my Grandson WILLIAM EVERTON two cows & their increase to him and his heirs.

Item.  I give to my Grand Daughter HANNAH EVERTON two cows & their increase to her & her heirs.

Item.  I give to my Grandson EDWARD EVERTON two cows & their increase to him and his heirs.

Item.  I give to my Grandson JAMES EVERTON two cows & their increase to him and his heirs.

Item.  I give to my Grand Daughter COURTNEY CHAMBERLIN one Porringer and a plate to her and her heirs

Item.  I give to my Grand Daughter ABY CHAMBERLIN four earthon plates & three Paringers.

Item.  I give to my Daughter CATHRINE CHAMBERLIN my ???? and all the rest of my estate I give to my Daughter CATHRINE CHAMBERLIN  to be equally divived between her and her childron(?) Except one chest I give to DANIEL(?) EVERTON and Lastly I nominate appoint my loving Daughter CATHRINE CHAMBERLIN to be Ext. of this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other wills hereto for by me made.
