I’ve added a new page to the site for listing resources that may be helpful if you’re looking for a will. Currently, there are only two links, but over time the list will continue to grow.
On the page you will find a link to an index from the book “Wake County, North Carolina Abstracts of Wills, Inventories, and Settlements of Estates: 1771-1802” published in 1984 by Frances Holloway Wynne. Her book includes a listing of all individuals abstracted as well as slave names mentioned in the wills. You can view the index directly or by by going to the Wills page.
