THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

NOAH SPENCE

October 16, 1821

In the name of God Amen. I NOAH SPENCE of the County of Camden & State of North Carolina am week in body but of sound mind & memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same, I am a mind to dispose of these Worldly goods & c.

Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Son JOHN SPENCE Junr. My land & plantation to him & his heirs forever. Also, I give him one mare & colt & one mule & four head cattle hogs with all the rest of my moveable estate within doors & out doors, to him & his heirs for ever.

Item. I appoint my loving Son JOHN SPENCE whole & sole executor of this my Last Will & Testament. In witness my hand & seal this Sixteenth of October 1821.
