263 JESSE HAM, base-born Orphan of ANNE HAM, apprenticed to RICHARD HAM, pursuant to Court Order 11 November 1772. He is to be taught the business of a shoe maker. 270 JOHN HAWKINS, Esq., & ROBERT CALLER named by Court Order February Court 1773 to let the building of a bridge over Smith's Creek. Agreement between these two men and GEORGE TUCKER, the lowest bidder. Also Bond, dated 4 May 1774, from GEORGE TUCKER to Justices, for building a bridge over Smith's Creek & over Goods Mill Pond and for keeping same in repair for seven years. Securities: THOMAS NEWMAN, DANIEL BURFORD. Wit: CHANAL HIGHTOWER, PHILEMON HAWKINS. Bond certified 11 May 1774 and, together with agreement, recorded May Court 1774.
