Gideon Cofield Richardson & Anna Richardson originally from Halifax Co.,NC. He lived at various times of his life in Nash, Halifax and Warren
Counties and was married twice, 1st to Dorcas Ann Richardson, daughter of Mason Richardson & Mary Dales, and 2nd to Effie Richardson, daughter
of Jesse H. Richardson & Rosanna Silver) |

I, BENNETT RICHARDSON of the aforesaid County and State being of sound mind, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and
declare this my last will and testament.
First, My Executor, hereinafter named shall out of the first money coming into his hands belonging to my estate pay my debts and burial expenses.
Second, I loan to my wife EFFIE RICHARDSON during her life time all the real estate that I may own at the time of my death and at her death I give
sam to her children by me in fee simple.
Third, to these of my children I give one dollar each, LEONARD RICHARDSON, LAURA WOODARD, WILLIAM B. RICHARDSON, ELIZABETH WARDRUP, EMMA RICHARDSON,
LULA RICHARDSON, OVERMAN RICHARDSON, LELIA RICHARDSON and JAMES RICHARDSON.
Fourth, I hereby appoint my son WILLIAM B. RICHARDSON to be my lawful executor.
In witness whereof I the said BENNETT RICHARDSON do hereby set my hand and seal this 5th day of September 1912.

Order for Probate of Will
A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of BENNETT RICHARDSON deceased is exhibited in open court for probate by WILLIAM B.
RICHARDSON Executor therein named; and the due execution thereof by the said BENNETT RICHARDSON, deceased is duly proven by the oat oand examination
of W. T. DAVIS and R. H. ARRINGTON subscribing witnesses thereto and it is further shown to the satisfaction of the court by said witnesses that the
said BENNETT RICHARDSON was, at the time of making said will of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute a will and under no restraint to their
knowledge, information or belief,
It is thereupon considered, adjudged and decreed, that said proof is suffiecient and according to law and that said paper writing is and contains
the last Will and Testament of BENNETT RICHARDSON, deceased. And on motion it is ordered that said Will be admitted to probate and recorded in the
Book of Wills of Warren County and as such filed as provided by law in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of said County.
It is further adjudged that said WM. B. RICHARDSON is a suitable person to act as Executor and that he be allowed to qualify as executor as provided
by law and enter upon the discharge of the duties imposed by said trust.
Dated this the 2nd day of June 1917.
